Silver Vajra Pendant (Dorje)
A strikingly crafted, slender vajra (dorje) pendant: From a central sphere, a wreath of curved prongs extends upward and downward, each tapering to a fine point. The Vajra—literally “diamond” and also “thunderbolt”—is the central ritual scepter of Tibetan Buddhism and symbolizes indestructibility as well as effective, compassionate action (the “skillful means”). In ritual practice, it is held in the right hand and complemented by the bell (ghanta) in the left, which embodies wisdom. It pairs well with the snake chains from Atelier Tibet (sold separately). Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
Height 30 mm (including eyelet) · Width 8 mm · Eyelet ⌀ approx. 5 mm · Silver · Handcrafted in Nepal
