Amitayus - Miniature brass statue (4.7 cm)

An elegant miniature statue in warm Messington, whose dark patina makes the five-petaled crown, the decorative chains, and the sweeping sashes stand out vividly. Amitayus (Tib. Tsepame) is depicted as a crowned, richly adorned figure on a double lotus pedestal; in the Tibetan tradition, he is one of the three deities of longevity and is associated with a long life. Its very small size makes the statue an ideal travel companion and a discreet addition to a home altar. Since each piece is hand-cast and hand-patinated, the color and fine details may vary slightly from the piece shown.
