Small bronze stupa
These two handmade bronze stupas from Nepal are finely crafted ritual objects as used in Tibetan Buddhist culture. They represent the enlightened mind of the Buddha and serve as a symbol of peace, spiritual clarity and the path to liberation.
The larger stupa is 10.7 cm high, the smaller one 6.5 cm; both have a base diameter of 4.2 cm. They are made of solid bronze and are traditionally cast. The surface has a warm brownish patina.
The shape follows the classic stupa architecture:
- a round, slightly flared base with surrounding lotus and pearl borders,
- a square harmika area,
- the conically rising tower (Sanskrit: Anda), designed with ring-shaped steps,
- and a final lotus-shaped spire symbolizing the aspect of enlightenment.
On the underside you can see that the stupas are hollow - traditionally such containers are filled with blessed materials, mantras or relics, which gives them their spiritual significance. Even when these pieces are empty, they can be used in the home altar, in meditation rooms or as symbolic decorative objects - e.g. as paperweights.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
