Malachite mala prayer chain

Elegant mala with 108 selected, polished beads made of green malachite, with a choice of two or four green cords. The mala has a circumference of approx. 82 cm, the diameter of the beads is approx. 8 mm. The prayer chain is made for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in an elegant silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.

Malachite is an eye-catching green semi-precious stone with a striking grain of concentric lines and swirls. Since ancient times, it has been prized for its aesthetic beauty as well as its symbolic and healing properties. The name is derived from the Greek word "malache", which stands for the green color of the mallow leaves. It is said to alleviate pain, promote blood circulation and strengthen the immune system. Due to its copper content, it is also associated with anti-inflammatory properties. In meditation, it is used to cleanse and activate the heart chakra.
