Mala made of 108 onyx beads with a chiseled guru bead and tassel
This mala, made of 108 taupe- to gray-brown onyx beads, exudes character and tranquility; its cloudy, naturally marbled pattern varies from bead to bead. Three small silver beads mark the sections of the strand; it is finished with a large, hand-forged silver guru bead, chased with floral Tibetan motifs, and a salmon-colored tassel.
A mala traditionally consists of 108 beads and is used in the Buddhist tradition as a prayer beads for recitation.
The beads are individually strung by hand. We ship the mala in an elegant silk brocade pouch, which we select in a color that matches your preferences.
