More from Tibetan butter lamps
Recently viewed
Heavy butter lamp made of hand-hammered copper with brass decorations - traditionally handmade in a small workshop in Nepal.
Tibetan butter lamps are an integral part of Buddhist ritual practice. They are traditionally filled with yak butter or oil and symbolize the light of wisdom that dispels ignorance. Lit in temples, monasteries and home altars, their flame stands for the pursuit of inner clarity and spiritual enlightenment.
This robust version is suitable for traditional use with a wick and oil as well as for practical use with a rechaud candle. It spreads a warm, meditative atmosphere and is also a special eye-catcher as a decorative object. The butter lamp is available in two versions, one of which is finely chiseled.
