Sorig Ta-Nuum - Hair and Scalp Oil · Men-Tsee-Khang
Hair and scalp care oil, made according to a traditional Tibetan medicine recipe. It is based on apricot kernel oil, enriched with three plants that have been used in Sowa Rigpa for centuries: chebula, amalaki, and arnebia. The scent is subtle and herbal, and the oil absorbs without leaving any residue.
Directions: Gently massage a few drops into the scalp once or twice a day. With regular use over several weeks, the product’s benefits will become apparent.
The oil is produced by Men-Tsee-Khang, the Tibetan Institute of Medicine and Astrology in Dharamsala. The institute was founded in Lhasa in 1916 by the 13th Dalai Lama and reestablished in exile in India in 1961 by the 14th Dalai Lama; to this day, it trains doctors in Tibetan medicine and, in its own pharmacy, manufactures medicines and skincare products according to traditional formulas. Production is supervised by experienced Tibetan pharmacists. Every purchase helps support this work.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
