Garland of gold-plated Bodhi leaves (185 cm)
Decorative garland of 10 x 2 Bodhi leaves, gold-plated on one side and attached to a golden thread. The leaves have a diameter of approx. 4 to 8 cm. The length of the garland is approx. 185 cm - or 92.5 cm if it is hung in the middle and hangs down on two sides. There is a gold-plated ball at each end of the thread, which serves to weigh the garland down and keep it balanced.
Bodhi leaves are a central symbol in Buddhism, as they are associated with the Buddha's enlightenment. The Bodhi tree, under which Siddhartha Gautama became Buddha, stands for wisdom and spiritual awakening. The heart-shaped leaves symbolize the interconnectedness of all life and the overcoming of ignorance. Prepared Bodhi leaves are a reminder of impermanence and serve as inspiration for the path to enlightenment in temples or meditation rooms.
The garland is made for us in a women's cooperative in Nepal. The chlorophyll and other green components are carefully removed from the leaves so that the filigree network of leaf veins, the framework of the leaf, remains visible.
The garland is supplied in a gift box made of Lokta paper.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
