Wooden mala with a hand-forged silver guru bead
A distinctive mala made of wooden beads in a warm brown, with a striped grain that changes from bead to bead; small silver rondelles divide the strand. The mala is finished with a hand-forged silver bead featuring a Tibetan vine relief on a lotus pedestal—the lotus is one of the eight symbols of good fortune in Tibetan Buddhist iconography.
Four green strands of beaded cord with wooden beads and silver discs extend from the guru bead.
The mala is delivered in a silk brocade pouch, which we select to match the color.
Bead diameter 8 mm · Circumference 90 cm · Wood, silver · Guru bead hand-forged in Nepal · Handcrafted in the Tibet studio
