Older labradorite silver pendant
An older pendant from a Tibetan jewelry collection.
The pendant consists of an exceptionally large oval labradorite with a fascinating deep play of colors, which is set in silver . The back is elaborately chased with the two golden fish (Tib. གསེར་ཉ་, gser nya).
The piece comes from an extensive collection of Tibetan jewelry from the 19th and 20th centuries and was probably never worn. Both the quality of the labradorite and the silver workmanship are of exceptionally high quality.

Labradorite is a dazzling stone that is known for its fascinating play of colors and is considered a protective stone that promotes intuition and spiritual awareness.
The two golden fish (tib. གསེར་ཉ་, gser nya) are one of the eight Tibetan symbols of happiness and stand for freedom, happiness and fearlessness. They symbolize overcoming obstacles, as fish move freely in the water, and in Buddhism are considered a sign of spiritual liberation and enlightenment. In Tibetan art, they are often depicted in pairs with curved bodies to represent harmony and the unification of opposites.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
