Seated on a detailed lotus pedestal, his calm facial expressions, finely draped robe folds and balanced posture reflect deep inner peace and awakened consciousness.

The opulent aureole frame is extraordinary, richly decorated with mythological figures, lions, elephants, garudas, cloud ornaments and protective beings, which frame the Buddha like a radiant apparition of light.
