Aragonite necklace with gold-plated lotus pendant

A necklace made of faceted aragonite beads with a diameter of 5 mm, in warm yellow-brown tones, featuring a gold-plated silver lotus pendant. The circumference is 65 cm. Handcrafted at Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Aragonite forms under low-temperature, high-pressure conditions, such as in hot springs, caves, or seawater. It is particularly known for its needle- or column-shaped crystals, which often occur in stalactites or pearls. Aragonite plays an important role in biological processes, as mussels and corals use it to form their skeletons. Energetically, aragonite is considered grounding and stabilizing.
