From old stocks: Vintage turquoise pendant singles

Five cabochon pendants full of character made from natural Tibetan turquoise in a simply crafted silver setting with a fluted eyelet. Each stone is unique: the palette ranges from deep petrol blue-green with a smooth, almost dark-looking surface to classically veined light blue with a pronounced brown matrix. Some stones show the typical "spider web" grain, which is particularly appreciated by connoisseurs. Oval shape, flat cabochon cut.

Turquoise(gyu, Tib. གཡུ།) is one of the most important gemstones in Tibet and has had ritual, protective and social significance there for thousands of years. It is considered a protective stone that protects its wearer from negative influences and is often associated with the sky and water - elements that are central to Tibetan cosmology. Turquoise was used in jewelry, ritual objects and thangka frames and has long been a sign of social status. The characteristic veining - created by iron oxides and other minerals in the mother rock - is not considered a flaw, but a sign of quality and proof of naturalness.

As high-quality Tibetan turquoise deposits are largely exhausted today, these stones come from old stocks - another reason for their special value.

Made in a Nepalese silversmith's workshop, this unique piece combines traditional craftsmanship with the symbolic power of turquoise, which is considered a stone of protection and inner strength in the Himalayas.

Each pendant is unique and impresses with its exceptionally pure color effect.
