Stretchy Amber Ring

A wide ring featuring navette-cut amber stones set in two rows between small gold-colored glass beads. Depending on the variant, the color ranges from clear honey yellow to warm, opaque butterscotch to dark cognac, in which fine cloud-like streaks and occasional organic inclusions are visible.

In the Tibetan jewelry tradition, amber is one of the most prized materials, along with coral and turquoise, and is used in necklaces, amulets, and headdresses.

The ring has an elastic band and is slipped on without a clasp. Amber is a natural product, so each piece is one-of-a-kind—the color, transparency, inclusions, and shape of the individual stones vary slightly.
