Chrysoprase necklace with silver pendant "Endless knot"
Short, delicate necklace made from intensely green, faceted chrysoprase beads with a diameter of 3 mm and a silver pendant depicting an endless knot. The necklace has a circumference of 40 cm and is opened with a silver spring clasp. It is handmade at Atelier Tibet in Zurich
Chrysoprase is a rare, bright green variety of the mineral chalcedony, whose color is created by traces of nickel. Its name comes from the Greek and means "golden green". The semi-precious stone belongs to the quartz family and has been prized since ancient times. It symbolizes hope, balance and inner peace. In gemstone healing, it is said to open the heart and promote creativity.
The Endless or Infinite Knot, one of the eight lucky symbols of Tibetan Buddhism, consists of an endless line without beginning or end. It symbolizes eternity, connectedness and the principle of karma. In Tibetan art, it adorns thangkas, ritual objects and temples, often as a sign of protection and wisdom. Even today, it is valued as a symbol of harmony, spiritual growth and constancy.
