Dark Raktu Mala (⌀ 9 mm)

Tibetan prayer chain with 108 dark, polished raktu seeds with two red cords, each with two counting beads. The mala has a circumference of approx. 84 cm, the seeds have a diameter of approx. 9 mm. It is made for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in an elegant silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.

The seeds of the raktu treeoften simply called raktu seeds play an important role in Buddhism and the Hindu tradition, particularly in spiritual practices. These seeds come from tropical trees such as the coral tree (Erythrina) and are known for their bright red to reddish-brown color.
