Unique vintage amber and silver pendant

A unique, older pendant from a Tibetan jewelry collection.

The round pendant consists of a yellow amber set in silver and surrounded by ten amber stones in a circle. The back is elaborately chased with Tibetan motifs.

The piece comes from an extensive collection of Tibetan jewelry from the 19th and 20th centuries and was probably never worn. Both the quality of the amber and the silver workmanship are exceptionally high.

Amber is a warm, golden yellow gemstone made from fossil resin that plays an important role in Tibetan jewelry. Monks and believers often wear amber as a talisman to ward off negative energies.
