Finely crafted, heavy bronze Phurpa ritual dagger

This Phurpa - a unique piece - is a solidly crafted, heavyweight ritual dagger sculpture made of bronze. With a length of 22.5 cm, a diameter of 5 cm and an impressive weight of 461 g, it is one of the particularly powerful and high-quality versions of this ritual object.

The upper section of the phurpa shows an expressive, multi-layered three-faced protective deity face, typical of Vajrakīlaya/Dorje Phurba. The faces are deeply carved and surrounded by detailed ornaments, head ornaments and flame motifs that emphasize the transformative and protective nature of this deity.

The central section is richly textured and shows several superimposed symbolic forms - including knots, rows of beads and stylized representations of sacrifices. The sculptural design and dark patina lend the phurpa an impressive depth and presence.

The triangular dagger tip is clearly and powerfully modeled. In Buddhist symbolism, it stands for the severing of the three fundamental obstacles: Ignorance, attachment and aggression. Due to its heavy weight, this phurpa has a particularly stable and ritually impressive feel.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, a phurpa is not used as a physical weapon, but as a symbolic tool for transforming negative energies and focusing the mind. Due to its solid design, this piece is suitable both for ritual practice and as an artisanal collector's item or striking altar piece.

Brief instructions for measuring wrist size:
Loosely wrap a measuring tape or string around your wrist where you want the bracelet to sit. Make sure that it fits snugly but does not cut in. Read the circumference directly from the measuring tape or measure the length of the cord with a ruler.
Note:
The length of the bracelet may be 1 cm to 3 cm longer than the measured wrist circumference, depending on your taste.

Brief instructions for measuring the ring size:
Method 1: Measure the inner diameter of a suitable ring
  • Take a ring that fits well.
  • Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
  • Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
Method 2: Measure the circumference of your finger
  • Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
  • Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
  • Mark the point where the ends meet.
  • Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
  • Find the right size in the table.
Tips:
  • Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
  • Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
