Gold-plated, patinated Shakyamuni Buddha statue made of copper, 20 cm high
This finely crafted Shakyamuni Buddha statue shows the historical Buddha in a meditative posture (dhyana mudra) on an ornately decorated lotus base. The calm facial expression, the gently closed eyes and the carefully modeled folds of the robe lend the figure a special dignity and aura of inner concentration.
Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is regarded as the historical founder of Buddhism. His teachings, summarized in the Dharma, show the way to liberation from suffering through mindfulness, compassion and wisdom.
The statue was made a few years ago in a traditional workshop in Nepal. It has since acquired a golden patina with fine greenish-blue signs of ageing, giving it an antique character. It is a symbol of knowledge, peace and inner calm and an artistic object of spiritual inspiration.

Brief instructions for measuring the ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
