Green T ara is an important female deity in Buddhism. She embodies compassion, protection and enlightenment. Green Tara is often depicted as a young and radiant goddess with an emerald green complexion. She is quick and willing to help those who ask her for assistance. Green Tara is a symbolic figure of active compassion and quick deliverance from obstacles and fears. Her worship is seen as a source of comfort, strength and spiritual progress.

This statue was made in a traditional artisan workshop in Nepal and is made of copper. The height is 22 cm.
