Malachite necklace with a silver dragon bead and antique coral

This necklace of polished malachite beads shines with a striking, rich green luster; the characteristic banding of lighter and darker shades of green makes each bead unique. At the front, a large, hand-forged silver bead featuring a three-dimensional embossed dragon motif serves as the focal point, flanked by two warm, reddish-orange beads made of old coral.

Malachite is a copper mineral that has been prized as a gemstone since ancient times; its concentric bands are considered its distinctive feature. The dragon is one of the well-known motifs of the Himalayas and is associated with strength and protection.

The chain is fastened with a silver spring ring clasp (sailor's clasp).
