Bodhi seed mala prayer chain (⌀ 12-14 mm)

Tibetan prayer chain with 108 selected, large Bodhi seeds with four dark brown cords. The mala has a length of approx. 140 cm, the diameter of the seeds is 12-14 mm. The prayer chain is made for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in a fine silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.

Bodhi seeds are the products of the Bodhi tree. The term "Bodhi" comes from Sanskrit and refers to awakening, enlightenment and comprehensive understanding. Siddharta Gautama attained enlightenment under a bodhi tree and thus became a Buddha. Since then, the Bodhi tree has been a sacred symbol in Buddhism.
