Carnelian necklace with amber and coral

Magnificent necklace made from old carnelian beads with a diameter of approx. 11-15 mm, which are interspersed with old amber and coral beads. The necklace is closed with a silver spring clasp, measures 42.5 cm in circumference and weighs 62 g.

Amber is a warm, golden yellow gemstone made from fossil resin that is known for its protective and healing energy and is often used to promote joy, vitality and positive energy.

Coral has a deep spiritual and cultural significance in traditional Tibetan jewelry. The red precious coral (Corallium rubrum) is particularly prized. In combination with turquoise and silver, coral beads are a characteristic element of Tibetan prayer beads(malas), amulets and ritual jewelry.
