Kauri shell bracelet
Striking mala necklace made of cowrie shells strung on a black cord, with two cords, each with a shell, with which it can be opened and closed. The circumference can be adjusted from approx. 15-20 cm
Kauri shells have been used in the Himalayan region for centuries as jewelry, a symbol of protection and a means of payment. In the Tibetan-Buddhist cultural area in particular, they are regarded as lucky charms and are still used today in ritual objects and prayer chains.
