Necklace made of aquamarine and mother-of-pearl

Summery necklace in fresh light blue and mother-of-pearl shades, made from faceted aquamarine and mother-of-pearl beads with a diameter of 6 mm. The necklace is fastened with a silver spring clasp and measures 40 cm in circumference. Handmade in the Tibet studio in Zurich.

Aquamarine is a variety of the mineral beryl and is characterized by its delicate, blue-green hues, which are reminiscent of the clear waters of the sea. Its name comes from the Latin "aqua marina " and means "sea water". Aquamarine symbolizes purity, clarity and serenity and is considered a stone of courage and inner peace.
