Amitabha small bronze statue
Characterful statue of Amitabha Buddha made of copper - patinated in warm red-brown, with a lively surface texture and carefully chiseled details.
The Buddha sits in the lotus position (vajrasana) on a double-row lotus throne with a beaded edge. Both hands rest on top of each other in his lap and hold an alms bowl - the dhyana mudra (gesture of meditation), which expresses complete concentration and meditative contemplation. The monk's robe is draped over the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder bare; its hem is interwoven with fine tendril patterns. The hair is in the traditional snail curls and crowned by the ushnisha; the face is calm and turned inwards, with the urna between the brows.
Amitabha is the Buddha of boundless light - lord of the western Pure Land of Sukhavati. Those who turn to him in devotion are promised rebirth in his Pure Land, where the conditions for enlightenment are perfect. The meditative posture and the alms bowl indicate the deep contemplation from which his work arises.
The statue is intended for ritual filling - a traditional act of consecration that activates the figure as a Dharma object.
Made in a traditional artisan workshop in Nepal.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
