Small turquoise pendant

Small, older pendants from a Tibetan jewelry collection, some of which are set in brass or copper, others in silver. Each pendant consists of an expressive, natural Tibetan turquoise with a diameter of approx. 13 to 20 mm.

Tibetan turquoise is a particularly valuable, bluish-green gemstone that is mainly found in the highlands of Tibet and partly in China. It differs from Persian or American turquoise due to its darker coloring with natural brown or black veins and inclusions, which give it a rustic, authentic look.

In Tibetan culture, turquoise is considered a sacred protective stone that promotes positive energy, happiness and harmony. It is traditionally worn as an amulet or piece of spiritual jewelry to accompany the wearer on their journey through life.
