Lapis lazuli pendant with a silver setting and turquoise

A striking blue pendant made from a faceted lapis lazuli rod, set in a richly embossed silver cap featuring floral and vine motifs and an inlaid turquoise stone. Lapis lazuli captivates with its deep blue color and golden pyrite inclusions; it was highly prized even in ancient times and traded along trade routes from Afghanistan to the Mediterranean region. The pendant hangs from an ornate eyelet. Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
