Larimar necklace

Necklace with faceted Larimar beads and a silver spring clasp. The diameter of the beads is approx. 5 mm, the circumference of the necklace is 38 or 42 cm. The necklace is made in Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Larimar is a rare, blue gemstone that is found exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Its characteristic color ranges from light blue to greenish-blue and is reminiscent of the colors of the Caribbean Sea. Geologically, larimar is a variety of the mineral pectolite, whose blue color is due to copper deposits. Larimar is said to have a calming effect; it is said to help release inner blockages and boost self-confidence. It is also said to have the ability to break through negative thought patterns and promote intuition.
