Mahogany obsidian necklace
A necklace full of character made from mahogany obsidian - handmade in the Tibet studio in Zurich.
The 6 mm diameter spherical beads shine in a deep, warm dark brown with shiny black inclusions and a velvety high gloss - grounding, powerful and of great depth. The gold-plated lobster clasp adds a warm accent.
Mahogany obsidian is a volcanic glass that gets its characteristic red-brown grain from natural inclusions of hematite or magnetite. It is considered a particularly grounding stone that is said to release blockages, promote inner strength and help to let go of old patterns. At the same time, it is said to offer protection and boost self-confidence.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
