Mala made of 108 jade beads with a chased silver guru bead

This mala, made of 108 honey- to golden-yellow jade beads, glows with a spring-like warmth and a soft, even luster. Three small silver beads mark the sections of the strand; it is finished with a large, hand-forged silver guru bead featuring finely chased lotus and vine motifs, topped with a red tassel.

A mala traditionally consists of 108 beads and is used in the Buddhist tradition as a prayer beads for recitation.
