Mala made of red agate with a hand-forged silver bead

A powerful mala made of 108 agate beads in warm shades of red and orange, interspersed with lighter bands and cloud-like patterns; small silver rondelles add delicate accents in between. The mala is topped by a hand-forged silver bead with floral relief decoration, from which four agate beads hang on burgundy-red knotted cords. This large bead is the guru bead: it is not counted during recitation; instead, the mala is turned at this bead to begin a new round. The mala is strung continuously, without a clasp. We deliver the prayer mala in an elegant silk brocade pouch, which we select individually to match the color of the mala.
