Lotus Seed Mala Prayer Beads

A distinctive mala made of 108 polished seed beads in a warm beige, speckled with fine dark flecks. A guru bead made from the same seed, paired with a stupa bead, completes the circle, and below it, four red cords end in knotted ends. The knot can be moved to adjust the spacing between the beads.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the lotus symbolizes purity and enlightenment: just as the flower rises untouched from murky water, the mind can find clarity in the midst of the world. The mala has no clasp and is worn over the head or wrapped several times around the wrist. It is available on a red or dark brown cord and comes in a custom-selected silk brocade pouch.
