Malachite necklace with lotus flower medallion
Fine necklace made from polished malachite beads in rich emerald green with the characteristic concentric banding - each bead is unique. The centrepiece is an oxidized silver medallion with a lotus blossom in relief in an antique coin look, with an irregular edge. Silver lobster clasp. A timeless necklace that can be worn in everyday life as well as for festive occasions. It is handmade at Atelier Tibet in Zurich.

Malachite is one of the most impressive gemstones of all: its deep green color with flowing bands is created by copper compounds in the stone and is unmistakable. In the Tibetan-Nepalese tradition, it is considered a protective stone on journeys and a companion in times of change. It is said to open the heart, dissolve old patterns and strengthen the courage to start something new - which is why it is also known as the "stone of transformation".
The lotus blossom(Padma, Sanskrit) is one of the central symbols of Buddhism: it grows up from the mud and unfolds flawlessly pure on the surface of the water - a symbol of enlightenment and the ability of the mind to rise above difficult circumstances

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
