Mantra-Amulett aus Weissmetall mit Anhängerschnur
Amulett aus Weissmetall mit dem Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum (ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ). Es ist das wohl bekannteste Mantra des tibetischen Buddhismus. Es wird dem Bodhisattva des Mitgefühls, Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig in Tibetisch), zugeschrieben und ist ein zentrales Element der spirituellen Praxis vieler Buddhisten. Das Mantra besteht aus sechs Silben, die jeweils eine tiefere symbolische Bedeutung haben:
- Om (ཨོཾ་) – Reinigt Stolz und Ego
- Ma (མ་) – Reinigt Eifersucht und Lust nach Vergnügen
- Ni (ཎི་) – Reinigt Leidenschaft und Begierde
- Pad (པད་) – Reinigt Dummheit und Vorurteile
- Me (མེ་) – Reinigt Armut und Besitzgier
- Hum (ཧཱུྃ་) – Reinigt Hass und Aggression
Zusammen steht das Mantra für die Transformation der Unreinheiten des Geistes in die Weisheit und das Mitgefühl eines erleuchteten Wesens.
Das Amulett hat einen Durchmesser von 3.2 cm und ist an einer schwarzen Anhängerschnur befestigt, die sich verstellen lässt (Umfang ca. 36 - 62 cm).
Das Amulett wird in einer traditionellen Werkstatt in Nepal gefertigt.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
