Om ཨོཾ Ghau Silver Pendant
Delicate oval Ghau pendant made of silver: The front features the Tibetan syllable "Om" ཨོཾ in Uchen script, framed by a twisted cord border; the side is decorated with a delicate band of wavy tendrils.
Om ཨོཾ is the best-known sacred syllable in Tibetan Buddhism and serves as the opening syllable of numerous mantras, including Om Mani Padme Hum. A ghau (also known as a gao) is a portable Tibetan amulet case used to hold prayer texts, blessed fabrics, or a yantra diagram.
The pendant can be opened and closed again. It pairs well with the snake chains from Atelier Tibet (sold separately). Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
Height 30 mm (including eyelet) · Width 18 mm · Depth 8 mm · Eyelet ⌀ approx. 3 mm · Silver · Handcrafted in Nepal
