Onyx necklace with silver vajra
Elegant necklace made from faceted black onyx with a silver vajra pendant - handmade in Atelier Tibet in Zurich.
The small faceted onyx beads with a diameter of 3 mm sparkle intensely in the light - each facet refracts the light and gives the necklace a lively, almost diamond-like glitter. The deep, velvety black forms an attractive contrast to the 20 mm high silver vajra pendant, which is finely open-worked and ends in a crown of lotus leaves at the top and bottom. Silver clasp.
The vajra (Tibetan: dorje) is one of the most important symbols in Tibetan Buddhism. The ritual lightning symbol stands for the indestructible power of enlightenment - hard and unbreakable like a diamond, yet unstoppable like lightning. In tantric Buddhism, it symbolizes the absolute reality beyond all illusions and is used as a tool to overcome ignorance. The vajra is inextricably linked to the energy of the Bodhisattva Vajrasattva and stands for clarity, protection and spiritual power.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
