Rosewood mala with a double vajra

A powerful mala made of matte, shimmering, deep-black rosewood beads, from which hangs a double vajra made of patinated brass. A guru bead with a stupa bead made of the same wood leads to the pendant.

The Double Vajra (Skt. Vishvavajra, Tib. Dorje Gyatram) consists of two crossed vajras and symbolizes stability and an unshakable foundation in Tibetan Buddhism. It is also associated with the Buddha Amoghasiddhi. The mala has no clasp and is worn over the head or wrapped several times around the wrist. It comes in a color-coordinated silk brocade pouch.

Bead diameter 8 mm · Circumference approx. 75 cm · Double vajra 42 mm · Rosewood, brass · Made in the Tibet Studio
