Heavy silver bracelet with a dragon motif and turquoise

A magnificent, wide silver bangle: A large, matrix-rich turquoise with a net-like pattern is set in relief within a box-shaped frame at the center, flanked by richly embossed dragon motifs against a dense background of clouds and vines, and framed by a twisted cord. The dragon (Tib. druk) is one of the most significant beings in Tibetan symbolism and is associated with power, transformation, and the auspicious element of water. The open bangle design allows it to be easily opened and closed and adjusted to fit the wrist. Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
