Silver pendant with an oval moonstone

This oval silver pendant is exquisitely crafted and striking: a faceted moonstone set in a bezel framed by multiple rows of cord. The stone shimmers with a soft, bluish glow (adularescence) that changes as the light hits it.

Moonstone is a shimmering variety of feldspar and owes its name to the moonlike glow that seems to wander across its surface.

The eyelet has a diameter of approximately 4 mm and fits chains of various thicknesses.
