Silver Ghau pendant with a double vajra and coral
Distinctive square Ghau pendant made of silver: The front features a three-dimensional double vajra (Vishvavajra) with a red coral in the center, framed by twisted cords, beaded wire, and delicate spiral ornaments in the corners; two additional corals are set on either side.
In the Tibetan tradition, the double vajra is regarded as a symbol of a firm, unshakable foundation.
A ghau (also known as a gao) is a portable Tibetan amulet case used to hold prayer texts, blessed fabrics, or a yantra diagram. The pendant can be opened and closed again. Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
