Tiger's eye necklace with silver clasp

A distinctive necklace made of polished tiger's eye beads in warm shades of gold and brown, whose delicate fibrous structure appears as a shifting band across the beads depending on how the light hits them. This silky sheen is caused by parallel fibers embedded in the quartz and is known in gemmology as chatoyance. A spring clasp made of gold-plated silver discreetly fastens the necklace.
