Turquoise Pendant with a Silver Elephant and Coral

A striking pendant made from a large, natural-looking turquoise with a vibrant matrix pattern, atop which sits a finely chased silver elephant; in the center, the elephant holds a round red coral. In Tibetan culture, turquoise and coral are among the most highly prized materials. In Asian cultures, the elephant has always been regarded as a symbol of strength, wisdom, and good fortune. The pendant hangs from an ornate eyelet. Handcrafted in a traditional workshop in Nepal.
