The heart-shaped pendant is crafted on both sides: one side features a large, three-dimensional lotus flower in silver, surrounded by tendrils; the other side features a set plate of chrysocolla in green-blue with rust-red inclusions. In Buddhist symbolism, the lotus is considered a symbol of purity, as it grows from muddy soil without becoming tainted itself.
