White Tara pendant in silver

Beautiful silver pendant of the White Tara. The White Tara is an important bodhisattva figure in Buddhism and is revered as a symbol of healing, long life and compassion. Her white color represents purity and spiritual enlightenment. She is often depicted with seven eyes - two on her face, one on her forehead and one each on the palms of her hands and soles of her feet - as a sign of her all-encompassing wisdom and compassion. White Tara is invoked to overcome obstacles, heal illness and grant protection. Her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayuh Punya Jnana Pustim Kuru Svaha", is often recited to promote spiritual strength and inner peace.

The mantra ༀ་ཨཱཿ་ཧཱུྃ (OM AH HUNG) is chiseled on the back. OM stands for the body, AH for speech and HUM (or HUNG) for the mind. They represent the possibility of the transformative blessings of the body, speech and mind of all Buddhas - past, present and future.
The pendant was made by hand in a traditional workshop in Nepal. It goes well with the snake necklaces from Atelier Tibet (available separately).
