Amitayus bronze statue
Small, beautifully crafted statue of Amitayus. Amitayus, also known as the Buddha of Infinite Life, is a central figure in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. He is a manifestation of Amitabha, the Buddha of infinite light, and is particularly associated with longevity, health and wisdom. Amitayus embodies the ability to prolong life and increase spiritual merit in order to promote enlightenment.
He sits in a meditative posture (Padmasana) on a lotus throne, which symbolizes purity and spiritual elevation. In his hands he holds a vessel containing the nectar of immortality (amrita), which represents health, vitality and spiritual renewal.
The statue is made ofbronze (approx. 80% copper, 10% tin-bronze and 10% zinc) in a traditional artisan workshop in Nepal and is approx. 9 cm tall. As this is a handcrafted product, the patina and fine details of the piece supplied may differ slightly from those shown.

- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
