Lotus Seed Mala with Double Vajra Pendant
Timeless and simple, this delicate mala is made of light-colored lotus seed beads, whose naturally speckled markings give each bead its own unique pattern. The string is hand-knotted between the beads, giving it a smooth, even drape. A larger guru bead with a small cap forms the clasp, from which a double vajra pendant made of brass hangs.
The Double Vajra (Vishvavajra, Tib. sna tshogs rdo rje) consists of two crossed vajras and is one of the well-known symbols of Tibetan Buddhism; in the tradition, it is associated with strength and stability. A mala traditionally consists of 108 beads and serves as a counting string during recitation.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
- Take a ring that fits well.
- Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (from one inner edge to the other).
- Compare the diameter with the table to determine the ring size.
- Take a thin strip of paper or thread.
- Wrap it around the part of the finger where you want the ring to sit (not too tight).
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure the length of the strip in millimeters. This is the inner circumference.
- Find the right size in the table.
- Measure the finger size in the evening, as fingers swell slightly during the day.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Make sure that the ring fits over the knuckle.
