Orgyen Menla Klein copper statue
Fine statue of Orgyen Menla made of copper - patinated in warm red-brown, with a lively surface texture and carefully chiseled details.
The deity is seated on a lotus throne with a pearl-studded rim, dressed in the richly chased brocade robes of Padmasambhava. On her head she wears the lotus hat (Padma-Tötreng) with a crowning feather; the three-pronged Khatvanga staff rests on her left arm, leaning against her shoulder. The right hand is open and lowered over the knee in varada mudra (gesture of granting) and holds the branch of the arura medicinal plant, a lotus tendril blossoms to the side. The left hand rests in the lap and carries the bowl with the healing nectar. The face is calm and turned inwards.
Orgyen Menla is the healing emanation of Padmasambhava - Guru Rinpoche in the form of the Medicine Buddha. The great master of Oddiyana, who brought Buddhism to Tibet, and the healing power of Bhaishajyaguru are united in him: the lotus hat and the khatvanga identify him as Padmasambhava, the arura healing plant and the nectar bowl as the lord of healing. His own healing and purification practices of the Nyingma tradition are dedicated to him, which free the body and mind from illness and suffering.
The statue is intended for ritual filling - a traditional act of consecration that activates the figure as a Dharma object.
Made in a traditional artisan workshop in Nepal.

Brief instructions for measuring ring size:
