Tibetan silver pendant "Tiger head" - handmade in Nepal

This expressive large pendant made of solid silver shows the powerful head of a tiger, richly detailed and sculpted in traditional Tibetan craftsmanship. Every line of the fur, the intense gaze of the eyes and the open mouth with elaborate teeth lend the piece of jewelry an impressive presence. The back is artfully chiseled with floral ornaments.

The pendant is made in a traditional silver workshop in Nepal, where the knowledge of metalworking has been passed down for generations.

Meaning of the tiger in Tibetan culture

In Tibet, the tiger is considered one of the strongest symbols of protection. It stands for courage, inner strength, self-confidence and victory over negative energies. In Buddhist symbolism, the tiger protects against fear and external influences and gives its wearer strength and determination. It is also associated with dignity, independence and spiritual energy.
