Handy Tibetan prayer chain with 108 polished Nepalese raktu seeds with two orange-yellow cords with two counting beads each. The mala has a length of approx. 78 cm, the diameter of the seeds is approx. 8 mm. The prayer chain is made for us in a traditional workshop for us in a traditional workshop in Nepal. We deliver the mala in an elegant silk brocade bag, which we select individually to match the color.
The seeds of the raktu tree, often simply referred to as raktu seeds, play an important role in Buddhism and Hindu tradition, especially in spiritual practices. These seeds come from tropical trees such as the coral tree(Erythrina) and are known for their bright red to red-brown color.
